that thoery sounds good.. and may feel good..... but doesn't fit the earlier details.
earlier details said there was plenty of spark. if it had spark.. it wasn't a shorted distribuitor.. or fouled cap....
if it had popped on ether, even if not starting.. I might see a case for lack of compression and sticky valves the popped free from multiple start attempts and or spring pressure with the cold weather making things contract and helping them break loose maybee.. but so far that's all i got.. long distance xray vision ain
