How many people own more than one brand of tractor

Kubota L5240 and Ford 961. When I was shopping I preferred Kubota because my parents have had a B8200 for at least 25 years now that has been about perfect but I looked at most of the brands when I was shopping. It came down to John Deere and Kubota and the Kubota had more seat/steering wheel adjustments that made her comfortable so the Kubota won.

I'm looking for something green right now..

Currently Kubota and Farmall. Have had Ford 7700 and 5000, Deere 4020 and several 401 loaders, Allis Chalmers 7045 and 6080, several Massey Ferguson 40's, a Same Tiger Six 105, Trojan loader, Fiat FR15 loader, and a Cat D8 dozer. There's been others, but those are the memorable ones. I believe to this day that most manufacturers have models both with merit and others that I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. I'm pretty non-denominational. I tend to look at the machine and not the color.

I should be in politices... many color tractors, after all, I don't want to offend anyone. Favorite color plaid.

All else being equal, and since most brands have pretty similar models, it's pretty handy to be able to go to just one dealer for parts.

Hard to pick a "favourite", though I'll settle for all above 150hp that have done 10,000hrs or more without incidental breakdowns/cost.
So my favourites by hp range:
less the 50hp = Iseki TX2160
50-110hp = the Daedong DK1002 (we'll be buying more ) or the Fiat780DT
110 -180hp = any/all the White's
180 - 250hp = the old Allis 7580 or Deutz DX230FWA or for a 2WD the JD6030
250hp &up = the Acremasters hands down
If I could only have 1xTractor it'd be close between the Mercedes MBTrac1300 4x4, the Fiat780DT or in hill country the Austrak
And my least favourite brand = A toss of the coin betwwen New Holland & Case (try finding a mechanic who is capable on recent models..), least favourite tractor is my JD8440.. (too costly to buy/run & maintain from new)

A lot of good tractors there MB and very refreshing to see a list that proves you dont need all brand new paint to farm large acres . Normally we bale our own straw but occasionally if we are pushed and weather is bad i have a guy who comes with another 3x3x8 baler and uses a MB 1000 on the picker , They do seem a very simple and "fixable" tractor , Never owned one but i see your passion. I also agree on your dislike of the 8440 ...We ran 12 deeres in the 70's weaning down to the last few being 7520, 4630,4430 in turn getting changed to steigers then versatiles etc as you said too expensive to run even at a younger age than we run most of our tractors now .I also share the passion for your fiat 780 ..or at least for the several 90/90's we've had and a 110/90 turbo and a f100 turbo , i personally love fiat engines .I am surprised that you rate the whites so highly ?
