I use the zero turn and my wife uses the Lx280.
Well, since I own and use a LX280 also, I know how comfortable it is, so your
wife has a nice ride. I sold my Ferris zeroturn, even with the suspension it was too fast,
too jerky, and I constantly ripped up the lawn because I was too lazy to do K turns.
Now the JD, which is basically an older X300 with the Kawasaki engine, that really
is a nice mower. And unlike the zero turn it won't slide off slopes easily.
I envy your dozer. At some point I am likely to buy land further South and clear a spot for a home.
And after reading all the threads on stump removal, using the brute strength method made sense.
I looked at the Nortrac dozer in Northern Tools for fun, but not sure two tons is enough to do land clearing.
Did you/do you use yours for clearing land or putting in roads? thanks
