You really didn't lose a tractor, you gained a tractor buddy.

My wife is not a tractor person. But she is capable of driving one when needed to help me out. Years ago I was scouting up old equipment off of a farm putting it in a field for an auction. I had 2 identical TO-35's, one with a boom pole, the other with a bush hog. She spent the day following me on the other tractor. I switched to the one needed as she kept the other close by for the switch. Nothing like having a wife that can help you with the guy thing.

Enjoy your wife...and buy more tractors.

My wife told me years ago she would mow the yard if bought her a riding mower. Found a barely used Snapper 26 inch five horse rider. First time out, within two minutes, she ran over a holly bush in the frount yard and told me she would never use the mower again. She never did.

So all the machine work is mine alone, anything I cant do by myself, I have to call on my brother in law (wife's sister's husband). How can two sisters be so different?Sister in law will kill and eat anything on the farm, my wife wont kill any thing - is a very picky eater, even says she is doesn't care much for chicken now that we have some and she used to eat chicken all the time.
Sounds to me like you need to go wife shopping.

Congratulations on your coming blessed event.

I had been watching ebay for a couple months and one morning there was a BX at a fairly cheap price. 3 minutes left in the auction, she told me "bid!" I put in one bid at a minute 48 and won it. She just gave me a home made book akin to the popular kids books "If you give a mouse a cookie" and "If you give a moose a muffin". Mine is called "If you give a guy a tractor". The last 4 pages said "Who knows what else a guy might need?" with a picture of a front mount blade, snowblower, and cab. She apologized that all she got me was a book. I said she gave me a lot more than that. She gave me permission.
