I have 2 grills on the front sides of my tractor that attach with 1 spring apiece.
The springs attach to each grill but I don't know where the other end of spring attaches to, any help?

Thanks,
Aries:confused:

I'm hoping this link comes through... :John Deere - Parts Catalog

We had some 301's years ago, and similar. I'm assuming the spring attaches to the cotter pins #'s 19 in the exploded view. It not very big, but should give you an idea.

There are other places to hook screens. Look in front of radiator for hole

There should be something to attach the springs from the top of the side grills to the bottom of the frame?I have the #19 cotter pins on both top sides, but they hold the front of the hood down to the front grill, to far forward and to high to attach the springs.

Thanks

I think on some utility models that the screen springs attach to fuel tank seam rib.

Couldn't locate any place to attach to the fuel tank seam rib.
