    I think Landsdown Moody close to Houston at one point several years ago rented a right of way New Holland TB110 with a brown on the back. If you were in AL, Hinton Machinery rents a similar unit or a kubota M108 w/ brown for like $1600 per wk. These are professional certified ROW tractors with full guarding and 20+ ply aircraft tires. I agree a FEL is very helpful. I use a JD 4720 and do what you are talking about.

    Whew, 1600/wk is high. I rent a 310 John deere backhoe for about that a month, about 2300-2800 with tire repairs and taxes/fees. Under 100 hours usually too on the equipment.


    But that is a good idea and I'll ask around. Usually monthly and weekly are not much different, strangely.
