Whats the most hours anyone has gotten out of a Zero Turn Mower. Is 3000 hours a lot. Are the Kubota Models a little but tougher than others. Thanks

3000 hours is a lot even for a diesel. The engine may still have some life in it but the mower deck and transmissions are likely shot by that time even if serviced properly. That is why lawn services usually pass them off at about 2000-2500 hours. They still run ok at that time but the big ticket items will be coming up shortly.

I have seen some state owned zero-turns with 2500-3000 hours on them. All of them gassers, most of them where on their second (or third) set of hydro's. It is not always economical to replace hydros but the state could justify it as long as it was a non capital expense. One of them was a Scag with over 3000 hours, they finally got rid of it when there was nothing left on the frame to weld because it was all fish plate.

I would say as a rule, 3000 hours is worn out.
