I'm working like crazy right now but i should get off early thursday morning and i'm gonna make a gauge setup and see what my pressure is. It would be a great help if one of the guys with a mx5100 that picks the tires up easy could throw a gauge on theres and tell me what it is reading

What that really means is that you are trying to lift more than the advertised dry load?

A 55 gal drum of water weighs about 450 lbs, with water at 8 lbs per gal.

Try to lift one filled drum, then two, the three = 1,320 lbs plus the bucket..

LA844

2.443 lbs at lift pins. Add bucket weight.

There are several good reasons to install a hyd gage in a tee in the IN port of the FEL valve.

The pressure developed by any hyd component is available at any time.

You can see the pressure developed by any cyl or motor as it is being used.

You can use the gage to check and set the relief pressure of any valve.

The gage can be used for troubleshooting.

If you use the hyd gage with a hyd flow meter, you can test your pumps ability to develop the pressure.

Your relief pressure is set due to the design of your machine and keeping safety in mind.

The 3000 psi hyd gage and parts to install should not cost beyond $30.

Mount it where you can see if from the driver seat.

Where can I find one with the correct connection?

Look at your hoses and determine the size of fittings you need and install.

Look at the tee and use adapters to fit the hyd gage in the tee.

Select a hyd tee and nipple that will fit your hoses and valve port.

TSC probably has what you need, or a hyd shop/vender.

just an update i finally got free from work and i decided to just take my 5100 to the kubota place to take a look at it. they put a gauge on it and it was a little low they put the shims in and the pressure jumped up and now the tires do lift off the ground before the bucket stalls thanks for all the help and the advice was great. BTW i watched them put the shims in because i was unsure of exactly what to do but it was very simple thanks again
