The warning lights on my 6610 dashboard have failed completely.

The LCD display, fuel, temp gauges,Tacho all work perfectly.

initially the lights were very dim.Especially when activated turn signals.

when i turn on ignitition key the time clock on LCD display goes to zero.. there is also a slight grinding/tearing noise from the dash..

i have removed the unit and visually inspected it. however i can see no obvious problem.I am a little cautious not to interfere with it and damage the unit.

can anyone advise as to possible reasons for this issue?

My first thought is you have a bad ground some where that relates to the cluster.

Hi, I know this problem was 4 years ago, but did you ever get to the bottom of it? I've got a 6410 with exactly the same problem and would appreciate any advice!
Thanks.
