We were mowing Saturday and all the sudden the PTO light went out and quit working.
We found the fuse blown and replaced it. The turn on the tractor again and went to turn o. PTO and nothing, check fuse and it was blown. So replace it with switch off but tractor on and it blue on our hands.

Could it be the solenoid is in short ?

Any ideas?

It is my first post so I hope it is in the right place.

I don't know anything about brandon's,but if your a "do-it- yourselfer",
try and remove the the solenoid and put another fuse in, if it still blows, it's not the solenoid.
Could be a broken wire grounding out from or to the solenoid.

Thanks, Solenoid was our first thought too. Tractor has less than 200 hrs.

Anybody has the wiring diagram? or idea where the Solenoid is located?

Thanks Skyhook

I would suspect a wire shorting out Vs a bad coil. PTO solenoid should be on the side of the transmission housing. I believe Branson has an on-line parts diagram website.
