I have a Cat 0 tractor with capacity to lift 700 lbs. I have in mind getting 0 to 1 bushings for the tractor side of the lift arms, and changing the top link, then putting on Cat 1 lift arms Anybody done this or have advise ?

What make and model tractor?

Most Cat 0 garden tractors are too light and low powered to do much with larger attachments.

Might be able to give you some advice, if I knew the intended use.

Ingersoll 7020, weighs 1730 lbs with the FEL, 20 hp gas. I think they used Cat 0 because those were the parts they had, and at time of manufacture, Ingersoll already in financial trouble. It's supposed to carry a 600 lb counter-weight box (box provided only carries 300 lbs of concrete - probably more of that 'parts available' issue.
I plan to stay with 4' attachments, but h-e-a-v-y, thinking box blade and the recommended weight box, specifically. Any powered attachment has to be their Cat 0 attachment, so I'll be switching arms.
