2012 john deere 1023e
I have a 2012 deere 1023e and I'm wanting to put a radiator heater on it b4 it gets too cold outside but the problem is I don't know the diameter of the hose to order the heater and I don't want to yank the hose off and the tractor be out of commission for a week till the heater comes in because I use the tractor for plowing and hauling my wood to the house. And we've been getting dumped on this past week with snow so can't really have it down for any length of time. Does anyone know what size diameter the hose is? And yes I've called a couple dealers and asked them and all they can tell me about the hose is its part number

You could always use a caliper to measure the diameter of the hose,
they also sell different types of reducer fitting etc to match your heater.

I had a heater in the cab of a 2305 and a 2720. They both used 5/8 inch hose. I would GUESS that your 1023 would be the same. I am surprised your dealer can't figure it out.

Are you talking about the lower radiator hose? That's where an engine heater usually goes. Does the Deere parts diagram tell you the part no? Your dealer can't tell you? I'm confused.
