You may or may not remember "fun with the loader, part 1" ... pallet-salt test last fall with my LS R4047 & my buddies Kubota L3540. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/ls-tractors/297621-fun-loader-tonight-pallet-fork.html

Well, just picked up another pallet of salt and thought it was time for putting the Massey thru the same test.

So here we have it. Massey 1648 cab with DL130 loader. She was able to lift 51 bags of 40lb salt, to a "working height". This was evenly distributed on a standard pallet, using 42" quick attach forks (sorry, didn't weigh them yet, but will soon).

This loader cracks me up... The first few inches always seems the hardest, then she gets stronger. My LS seemed to have her "grunt" at the bottom of the lift cycle... but this 1648 seems to get stronger the higher she goes...

So here's the vids. In the first, she lifts the 51 bags. In the 2nd, she attempts 52

So now I can tell the wife, that 40lbs extra weight, does make a difference.

Haha, yeah that's true!

I'm still waiting to test the hydraulic relief system to see where she's set ... and if she needs to be adjusted. She immediately tries to go into relief when lifting this much.

Does anybody know (looking at the my valves here) how this system would get adjusted if needed?
