I had a major problem with my 52" power broom, when I looked into the parts needed to repair it turns out there was a redesign and to fix a design flaw. It's going to cost close to $1000 in parts to get it going.

I need some help, is there anyone familiar with this piece of equipment out there that can help me?

The tube/shaft part number 16 somehow got cut in 2 pieces due to wear on the end

I have to purchase all the items that are "Begin Serial 1700"

Part # being the most expensive.

What do you think?

The tube or mainshaft that the broom rotates on somehow got cut off, you can see where it would have extended out and gone into that brass bearing.
They have updated the design with a additional brass bearing with the grease fitting on it, but they are requiring me to buy buy all new pieces and I would prefer not to if I can find a way around it.image.jpg

If you have access to a metal lathe I would try to machine new parts.
