Hi everybody

I have a john deere 755 which creeps when I take my foot off the forward or back pedal

I have the manual to read but cannot see any easy adjustment

Other owners have same problem

any easy fixes

Most hst machines have an adjustment procedure described in the owners manual to in effect center the pedal.
Before jumping into that you need to ensure that the linkage is not binding from lack of lubrication.

Look up through the open section in the center bottom of the case at the pedals. You will see a pair of little bearings riding in a V, that is what brings the hydro back to neutral. If they are dry or sticking, you get creep.

My 755 had a creeping problem and the problem was a roller bearing that rides on the V mentioned above. Applying grease to the surface helps for a short period of time, but eventually it resumes creeping.

The bearing is hidden up in there and is a bear to get you, but you can do it from under the machine. There are a couple spacers up in there that you'll need to watch for too.
