FEL hydraulic hose connectors.

I have a L3301 with a L525 FEL. I am interested in how everyone's hose connectors are mounted. The four hoses connectors on my tractor have, all four male fitting mounted to the tractor, and the female connectors go with the loader. Is this the normal hose rigging?

Yes, that is the way Kubota configures thier loaders, perfectly normal.

Yes. Generally, only the loader connects to those, so it doesn't make a difference which side the cheaper male end goes on.
On the back, generally the female side goes on the tractor as it is common to have several attachments that use those outlets.
