I don't know why I didn't immediately move my JD 2025R's ROPS lights to the inside. I busted the amber signal lights on both sides. So, while getting stuff for the 50 hour change, I bought new assemblies. They're now $85 each vs. $56 I paid when I bought them for my 4010 (essentially the same tractor, minus some goodies, more like a 2019E), after I busted its lights and switched them to the inside of the ROPS.
I only cracked a lens on the lemony JD 1025R that I had for nearly 2 years. Guess I got complacent.
Feds: you need to change the rules on these lights to allow them to be positioned inside the ROPS. You also need to change the rules on the ROPS height, to allow them to go underneath a standard garage door IF YOU WANT US TO USE THEM.
My rant for the day.
