As any one of you had any corrosion problems on the rear axles exactly where the cabine posts sits on the axle ?
corrosion occures between the posts plates (steel) and the axles (aluminium).
Since the two metals are in contact they form electrolysis and form corrosion to the axles.
Last year i got both sides changed (12 000 $) on one of my machines.
Since it is a conception problem, John Deere paid for half the bill.
I noticed the same problem this year on two other machine they are 2005 and 2007 (not so old )
The corrosion made a hole big enough to stick two fingers Inside the axle casing
I hope John deere will make a recall for that problem but i did not ear anything about it.

worked all day cleaning and painting my #6 tractor to get it ready to go to the dealer and get the rear axles casing changed.
i was hoping to get a reply about any recall from JD on the forum. (no one seems to to have that problem )

It will cost me 12 000$ for a engenering conception mistake.
