Just picked this up used on consignment.
I paid $500 plus $350 for parts from the dealer to fix the belt coming off.

It worked for 5 minutes but the belt fell off when I hit the grass.
In turtle mode it stays on but when rabbit mode it falls off.

DANG!

Welcome!

First check belt routing. With belt off, check the tensioning system (lever arm, spring, grease fitting). The lever arm often freezes up from lack of attention. Wrong belt of course could cause this. F735 Belt Routing.JPG While you are at it, check for correct blade rotation direction. Consignment experience: wrong deck for this tractor. Watch the pto rotation versus the blade discharge position.

If I get this sorted out, do they come off all the time? O just once a few week?
I thought the $850 I have into this making it a killer deal.

My 72" decks (Mid mount and F-935) have essentially the same layout and belt tensioning system. They both have never jumped a belt.
