Default Another tire size question - load volume?

I'm trying to figure out approximately what the load liquid volume is for my L4200 w/ turf tires. Kubota specs a rear tire size of 44x18-20 for the L4400. I can assume they are the same (or at least close enough) as what's on mine.

I've seen a few loading charts on the 'net, but can't find anything similar to the 44x18-20 size. It seems as though the charts I've found are all using some other kind of measuring system. Please advise.

Thanks - Jay

Jay,
I'm no math whiz by any stretch of the imagination, but I'll take a shot at this one.
You have two cylinders. The outside diameter of the tire and it's thickness, and the diameter of the rim and its thickness.
It seems logical to me that if you figure the volume of a cylinder for the whole circumference and depth of the tire and subtract the volume of the rim, that would put you in the ballpark.
I don't have the formulas for figuring cylinder volume handy or I would post them here for you. (I told you I wasn't a math whiz)
Hope this makes sense to you and helps you out too.

That size holds 56 gallons and with straight water weights in at 476 pounds. This is with 75% fill.

Thanks. Do you have a link for a fill chart that uses this type of tire sizing?

Came across this chart tonight. Thought it might be helpful for others trying to determine their tire capacity.
