Took more temp readings today. Work and load similar to previous except add intermittant FEL work. Ambient was 82f and overcast on first readings, 92f and bright sun on this test.

Tranny case - hottest spot 167f vs. prev. 159f
Hyd pump under load in 176f
Hyd pump under load out 179f
Tranny filter 157f vs. prev 143
FEL valve 159f
Engine Oil Filter 175f vs. prev. 162f
Bushhog gearbox 122f

Looks like ambient plays a pretty big role in the system's ability to cool itself.

Nice job, Dieselsmoke. It's interesting that the hydraulic pump is the "hot spot" in the hydraulic system and the whole tractor. Even engine coolant doesn't get any hotter than that. Ambient temperature also seems to have had a dramatic effect. The real world numbers sure tell a story.
