Default 1 row planter makes lots of friends

I got out my 1 row planter the other evening and planted in a spot that the planter had skipped for a good friend. Now I have had 3 people ask me if I could come over and do the same for them. You never know how many friends you have until you have something that is real handy like a 1 row planter. I don't mind it is all part of being a good neighbor.

Go on Ebay and do a search for "corn planter" You will find a bunch of them. The John Deere Flex 71 is the best one right now. There is about 5 guys that are taking old retired ones and rebuilding them into 1, 2 or 4 rows. Right now they are getting a premium for them. Expect to pay anywheres from 325 to 450. I won one at 216.00 and the seller backed out on it. I never did get it and he used all kinds of excuses for not selling. Long story don't have time to tell and I need to keep my blood pressure down.

So anyway I am kind of looking around our area for one to fix up myself.

murph,
Can you adapt a corn planter to plant green beans also?
