cylinder repair
Does anyone do their own hydraulic cylinder rebuilds? Is there any instructions for opening these cylinders. Particularly I have 2 FEL bucket cylinders (JD 430) that are leaking internally that use some type of rod mechanism to close the cylinder up. Any help or direction to instructions would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: cylinder repair
Most cylinders of that type have a threaded cap on the shaft end. Your dealer should be able to get you a rebuild kit. Most are cup seals and o rings inside.
