Many Ford tractors have trouble with rusty cylinder walls, with water running through the rust hole in the cylinder and mixing with the engine oil. A neighbor have fixed several of those.
He drills a small hole where the leak is, makes threads in the hole, puts in a 6mm bolt with some Locktight on, - finished!
In order to find the hole he blocks the water openings in the engine, connects a bicycle pump and makes i slight overpressure, enough for the water to reveal itself.
Ford tractors needs new freezing fluid every second year to avoid rust in the cylinder walls.
