Default JD 4310 - Broken top-link attach points

Bad case of cranial-rectal inversion, backed my grader box into a frozen rock-hard pile of #72 gravel, broke the top 2 cast-iron "holes" for the top link pin. I had the top link pinned in the middle spot or it would have busted all 3 of them out. Split real nice. Don't have pics.
Ordered the "housing" ($400+), the FSM description of removal and replacement is pretty straight-forward.
    Anybody been here before?
Any tricks to it, other than the obvious heavy-as-the-dickens danger?
