I have a parts manual for my 7800 that shows all of the exploded views from front to back. Well detailed. How different is a shop repair manual from this manual? Is it worth the investment if there is a difference?

Thanks

The shop manual is very different from the parts manual. The shop manual is like a Haynes repair manual for a car. It documents procedures like splitting the tractor, adjusting valves, etc. It lists torque values for fasteners. I like to have both manuals.

I found that the Workshop Manual went hand-in-hand with the Illustrated Parts List for my B2710. Either one can be a big help, but you really need both (or maybe I should say that I needed both:rolleyes: ).

Kubota provides two Workshop Manuals for the B7800. Like most of the Kubota WSM's, this one provides information on several models (B2410, B2710, B2910, etc). The supplement includes information specific to the B7800.

Part number for the primary WSM is 97897-12271 - $62.37
the supplement is 97897-13030 - $12.65.
