Just took delivery of a new B7800 and am trying to figure out how to install a worklight on the ROPS. I have read that there is a spare connector beneath the seat for attaching such light. I just can't seem to locate it. Is it hidden? Tucked away for only the dealer to find?
I can find the wiring harness and see where tail lights are attached. I just can't locate the spare connector, if it does indeed exist. Are there more than one extra connector? Thanks for help and advice. |

I'm not aware of any connector or harness under the seat. If there is any such thing, it would more than likely be included in the plastic zip-lock bag that your owners manual comes in (some dealers are notorious for misplacing these when they pull that packet out to get at the assembly manual.
To my knowledge, the only other parts included in that packet are a filter wrench, a spare fuse, and a clutch spacer. The bullet connector for plugging in the work light is under the right rear fender and should be zip-tied in with the wiring harness for the tail lights. If you're looking for a work light kit, Kubota makes a nice one that mounts on the right rear fender. Part number is 6C040-95504. List price $79.28. |
