Default Massey Ferguson filters

I just bought an oil filter and hydraulic filter for my Mf 1445. Almost had a heart attack when told the price. Is their any place to purchase these filters at a better price? I am unable to cross reference them in my area. Any help is appreciated.

Try online xref at fram.. then use that fram number to find others.

filtermart may also xref your oem numbers.

In general.. I still like to buy my filters from my dealer.. I know they can be a couple bucks more $$.. but int he end.. the difference between a 30$ and a 35$ filter may mean your dealer staying in business.. or going out of business. I get lots of free-bie telephone tech support fromthe parts and service manager at the local CNH dealer I go to.. he's told me how to fix things that he probably could have charged me to do with a tech service call... he knows I get service items and parts from his store.

Try WIX brand, they cross ref. to many tractors and I have used them many times on my MF 1040 over the yrs. when I did not want to drive the 100mi to my nearest MF dealer.

Napa's website has a filter cross reference database on it. I know they'll have an oil filter to fit you. The 1445 isn't a new model anymore, so you may be able to fine fuel, air, and hydraulic also. They won't have anything for new models but the oil filter probably.

In reference to the last pair of replies, NAPA Gold filters are made by WIX and are VERY good filters. I've been told that OEM MF filters are also made by WIX. NAPA has always had every filter I've ever needed for my Massey. WIX is available at Bumper To Bumper Auto parts and should cross to MF numbers also.

Ask if the "Heritage" filter is available at the MF dealer. My 596 & 4243 have it available in both part numbers. My understanding is that they are the same filter. Heritage filters are are cheaper than Napa Golds for my tractors.
