I have a Massey Ferguson 2203 with an AD 3 152 perkins diesel. I has been stopping when hot. It will now not start at all. I have investigated using the bleeding tips online and in the process got it to start - it only starts with the top bleed hole open on the injector pump. Of course if spits lots of fuel out and when I close the bleed screw it the engine stops. The gasket between the pump body and the top cover has also blown. This was not the case before this problem occured. So I have two questions; What is the problem with the fuel system? and how do I replace the gasket on the injection pump.

If the gasket blew check the return line, sounds like it may be clogged. If yo ucan handle some stuff under the cover and can find a gasket, you might be able to change it out. Otherwise I'd take it to a pump shop and let them fix and test it.
Good Luck, Rob
