Default Harbor Freight air ratchet

My 30 year old Blue Point air ratchet finally broke. Some little metal ball came out from somewhere in the head and it just has no power. Not sure if it's worth fixing. So I order the HF 19.95 model with a few other ods and ends. I think it's the same one I have up at the weekend place and used it a couple times. Low and behold I might be able to fix the old BP. Can you say copy?? I'mm have to see wha kind of power it has. My old Blue Point would lock your hand against a bracket with the power...and nothing was slipping!!! Might just put it on Ebay and see if someone else can fix it.

The Harbor Freight ratchet has about enough power to screw a bolt in Jello.

Mine has worked fine for years, but just don't get too optimistic about the torque. Try to fix the Blue Point.

The outside may look the same but it's what's inside that counts.

I have the same Blue Point but it's only 23 yo and all that I have had to do to it is replace the rubber button that shuts off the air.
