new holland skid steer error code

'96 new holland skid steer has an error code that comes up on the dash..it reads
'' error 2'' and wont let me start it..any ideas what this code means..

Found this fooling around online.

This is from the Operators Manual copy right date 1996. It came with my 1998 Lx865. On the front cover it has L865, Lx865, and Lx885.

The following are the fault codes and the associated error messages.

Err01: Memory store error (engine hours may not be valid).

Err02: Output circuit to the fuel solenoid has shorted/opened.

Err03: Output circuit to the hydraulic solenoid has shorted/opened.

Err04: Output circuit to the engine ...

Error 2 is often the result of the computer not enabling the fuel shutoff solenoid because of an unrelated underlying problem.
When you sit in the seat, does the instrument panel light up?
If not, check the fuses in both fuse panels, and the seat switches and wiring.
When you fasten the seat belt, does the seat belt icon go out?
If not, check all fuses and the seat belt buckle switch and wiring.
Will the machine start when the service/run switch is in the service position?

hello im having having same problem with mine, it will start in service mode and idle but when you move it too run it will run for 30 secs then shut off and says error code 02 or 003 or somthing ..josh lx 485

Run for 30 seconds and shutdown is usually a hydraulic charge pressure issue. Or more likely, a faulty charge pressure sending unit issue.

I don't have the current part number handy. It screws into the hydraulic filter head on your particular machine. Ask your dealer for it by description, he probably stocks it.

i am having the same problem and i thought it was the seatbelt sensor or the pressure pad but both those shud be working and all the fuses are good, it is reading ERR 02 but it will not start in service mode either. any idea what could be wrong?

I have a 1995 L465 skid steer that occasionally will not release the boom and bucket valves. When this happens it sometimes give a fault code of F UA. Can you help me?
