HELLO EVERYBODY IM TRYING TO TAKE OUT THE INJECTION PUMP OUT OF A DYNAHOE IT HAS A DETROIT DIESEL 4239 TL MOTOR. THE PUMP DOESNT COME OUT. EVERYTHING IS LOOSE BUT THE PUMP DOESNT COME OUT IS THEIR SOMETHING HOLDING IT BY THE GEAR
I'm not familiar with that exact engine but the injection pump gear is most likely held on by a bolt or nut from the front. If there is not a pump gear access cover on the front then the front cover plate would have to be removed.
