Kubota L 2500/Zetor 5211
Worked good til I had to park it due to hydro seal leak on bucket. Went to fix seal but could not get it to move. Can the 2 be connected. When not running can shift through all gears.

How long did it set? They will from time to time if left in high humidity areas rust up and sieze the disc to the flywheel not allowing the clutch to disconnect.

Art is right, JCP, your pressure plate, clutch disk, and flywheel are stuck
together. I had one of those L2500s with crashbox-type trrans. Try
this: start the tractor in low gear. Drive forward. Press the clutch pedal.
Hit the brakes hard. This may or may not work. You must go faster than
idle speed or you will stall the engine. Be careful.

One other possibility is your clutch linkage is messed up enough not to
disengage the clutch.

It sat for about 3 months in the woods north of houston so humidity could be a factor. Clutch is firm and it will hit all gears when not running. When running can't get it to engage so I can try and break something loose. How do you start in gear ?

If I recall correctly, the only interlock safety on that tractor is a
clutch switch. Just push in the clutch (it won't disengage, but the
safety switch will close) with the tractor in 1st gear, low range.
Crank the starter. I don't think there is a neutral safety switch, but
I could be wrong.

Starting a vehicle in gear is not an unsafe activity if done correctly. My
2 Toyota 4x4 trucks both have a dash-mounted switch to disable the
interlock for precisely that purpose. I have also done it with my first
Kubota when the starter switch failed.
