Hi All,
I have a John Deere 212 that runs decently downhill and on level ground for the most part. When I mow up a slight (around 5-10 degree) grade in forward or reverse, it slows and eventually stops and makes a loud squealing noise. I don't think the problem is with the mowing deck or the PTO clutch. I am fairly certain that the problem is in the drive clutch, but I don't know too much about it.
Can anyone confirm whether or not this is the problem and if so, where I should start looking at it to fix?
Thanks,
Phil
