    Default hydraulic leak @ transmission housing. Help!

    My JD 2440 has a pin hole leak at the transmission housing and a part that I can not identify in my shop manual. It is located behind the brake control valve and below the hydraulic oil fill tube/dipstick. It bolts directy to the housing. I am new to tractor owning so still learning alot. My question. Is there a seal that could be the problem or is there a bigger problem coming?
    I would appreciate any advise.
