Default Kohler K341 Rebuild

Currently have an Allis Chalmers 716H with a Kohler 341S Engine. I suspect the piston rod has broken and about to start a rebuild project.

Does anyone know where I can pick up a good instruction manual for rebuilding the kohler K341 (or similar) engine? I would prefer to do a bit of up front reading before starting the project.

Thanks

I have picked up a number of service manuals on ebay and amazon.com. Used is usually the way I go, new manuals can sometimes be pretty pricey depending on what it is for and the price difference between new/used is generally pretty substantial.

A good site with a lot of information is Brian Miller's Garden Tractor Pulling Tips & Tricks
Lots of little tidbits of information in there that the manual might or might not have. Makes for interesting reading if nothing else!

Great site! Thanks for the info. I already have the standard Kohler K341 Engine manual, gives you tear down and reassemble instructions but none of the 'you should know' items found on this site. Thanks!
