1998 bobcat 753:
started machine this morning..it opertaed 100%..ran, lifted, and dumped....about 2 min later it lost power to the controls... it starts and runs fine but the drive control arms and foot pedals do not work...no foward or reverse...no lift, no tilt, etc...

-all the lights on the black box behind seat are green
-hyrdolic light is not on
-no visible leaks, broken hoses, burnt wires, etc..

any ideas or suggestions ?

some kind of switch, plug, fuse, relay ..??

is there a way to read codes from machine or check fuses?

I don't know about bobcat but when newholands do that its is the engine coupler, no power getting to hydro pump.

Ditto on the New Hollands. Had to replace my flywheel to trans pump coupler just this summer. It had the exact same condition as your Bobcat.

bobcat pumps are belt drive...no coupler (at least modern ones)
take the plastic cover off the side of the engine(two clips) and see if the belt is still in one peice, and be sure the tensioner is there and working

Any update tt ? Let us know what the problem is/was and fix. There are more than a few Bobcat owners on here.
