Broken Joystick on 7108 FEL

I've got a 1715 Ford with a 7108 FEL.. The machined pin broke that supports the yoke that the joystick pivots on... I went to the New Holland Dealer on the south side of Baltimore... They could only pull up the valve and couldn't offer any suggestions as to where to get the part... I'm looking at making a repair that would replace the pin with a metric bolt.... I'm looking at grinding, drilling, hack-sawing and welding... Right now I'm stuck trying to get the pin out that holds the joystick in the yoke.. Looks like the pin is a press fit. Tomorrow I'm going to mount a small arbor press, to press the pin out..

Can one buy that part?
Is there an easy fix without a metal lathe?
Is that pin supposed to be a press fit?

RickB, That's it, the diagram I thought the dealer should have... They didn't have a clue at the Dealer... Thanks!!! Now if the Dealer can get it before the next snow?

If they are a New Holland dealer, they had it.

Having and finding apparently are two different concepts.

There are dealers,and there are dealers that have someone that can help.That should have been easy to look up if you had model & serial number off tractor.Someone did not know how,or did not want too.IT CAN MAKE OR BREAK A BUSSINESS.Good Luck

The young lady that waited on me did pull up the diagram for the loader... She did ask an older guy for help, he looked for 30 seconds and walked away.. Past experiences there were poor service and steep prices.. I bought an oil filter 3 years ago there right after I got the tractor... The filter cost was just under $10 and they were out of stock... I've been to that Dealer 4 times and never left with what I went for except on the return trip... I should look for a Dealer elsewhere and just pay shipping. It's an hour round trip and $4.00 in tolls for poor service.. Time to find a new Dealer.....

The valve is an accessory to the tractor; it won't be found by searching the loader. All two spool valves for NH compacts are cataloged that way.
