    Default charging coil

Where do the wires from a charging coil, under the fly wheel, usually attach to? It is a kawasaki 4 stroke engine. engine will not run when disconnected from battery and drains battery as it runs. Simple battery scrape test shows no shorts (I know a shade tree thing but what the heck)

There is a charging module on the side of the motor that it hooks to.

    Take a look here:

I had a simular problem! Mine's a JD 318, (18HP) But it can't be rocket science! I believe is the site. Should be able to find a simular site for your 'rig'! Mine was a cheap fix!! Good Luck!! ~Scotty

PS- The module that I had was about 2"x4" in size with Aluminum fins to rid heat! Thats something to look for!!
