JD 970

I am going to need some internal engine parts for a Yanmar engine JD 970 tractor - does some one know where to find besides maybe a JD place. Ok, know I do not know what parts yet.

These engines are used in both marine and industrial applications. You'll need to determine which Yanmar engine you have (if you have the 970 operator's or service manual, it should be listed but make sure you know your tractor's serial number too!).
Once you determine which engine you have, just search for Yanmar industrial engines. Can't guarantee the parts prices will be any better then Deere though. I would guess the marine engine prices might be higher.

I can only come up with the best source being your Deere dealer.
Find parts and numbers from jdparts.

Other than that, might look at a Yanmar site.
