As you can see from my re-treads of my old posts...finally had some time to spend on this baby.

I have Delco R45 plugs. The NGK equivalent plug is BR6S. But when i did another search for the B414 recommended plug, it came up as a Delco 425Z or NGK B6HS. So what should i use?

Engine oil? Capacity?
Oil filter?

Fuel filter looks like i can use any in-line type of filter that fits on the fuel lines.

anything else to look at?

thanks

Engine oil cap.= 7 1/2 U.S. quarts (with filter change) I use Delo 400 15-40oil, since that's what I use in the diesels also. Oil filter= NAPA Gold 1302 Spark plug gap= .025 #425Autolite is the plug I use in mine. Breaker point gap is .014. My IH is a '63 3414, which is is the industrial version of your B-414. Engine is a BC144, about 36-38 HP, I've been told. Great old tough, dependable machine, but some parts are gettin' a bit scarce....Dan.

thanks for that.

I put in plugs yesterday, NGK B6HS, and they looked different than the Delco R45s that were in there. The filter is good to know too.
