JD450C Crawler Dozer
I recently purchased a used JD 450C Dozer. Unfortunately someone has destroyed the wiring system on it. The only wire that I can't figure out is the one coming from the back of the alternator from the voltage regulator. It is in the wire bundle that goes from the alternator hot to starter and ends almost at the starter, and has unfortunately been cut. I have a maintenance manual for the dozer but it doesn't show where this particular wire goes. Is there anyone that can help me with this?

You might try the folks on www.heavyequiptmentforums.com
There are a bunch of dozer owners on that forum.
Good luck

Re: JD450C Crawler Dozer
someone may have put an alternator on that has built in volt regulator and that may be why wire is cut that comes from volt regulator
