The 16 hp Briggs needed some going over about 14/16 years ago. The crank rod journal was past oversize. A new crank just wasn't available. After spray welding and being turned to standard spec with the matched rod, it's been pullin' heavy work for four season's every year, ever since. The shop I dealt with has a decades long reputation of being THE place to go. I think that's the biggest part of havin' a good job done. A good reputation.
