Fuel Injection Pump for 1989 Case Backhoe 1st Gen

Hello Everyone,

I took four part numbers off my 1989 Case 580 K with serial # JAB000606 fuel injection pump so i can purchase another one. Everyone i contacted so far do not recognize any of the numbers. Is there anyone out there that can assist me? Here is the numbers i got from the pump.

The Engine model is 4-390

I am replacing it because my unit would only start if i put some fuel on a cloth and place it over the air pipe. Then it stop starting altogether. A mechanic came and bleed the pump but it still would not work.

As I recall the engine is a cummins 4bt.
Could you post a picture of the engine and injection pump??

google 580k fuel injection pump and look at the site for broken tractor parts has pricing but it shows 2 pumps will have to call for them to verify which is yours.
