When I heard the squeal of binding metal as I curled the bucket on my L3130, I cringed. Upon further inspection, I realized that the bucket ram is bent! I've taken it off and a local hydraulic shop is looking at it...they are saying that since it is hardened steel that it cant be straightened.

2 questions: First, how did this happen? I can't think that the tractor has enough power to bend a ram! I don't remember of backing into something either. Any suggestions?

2nd question, how do I fix this? Where do I buy a replacement? Just by a new ram or new cylinder?

Thanks,

John

The ram was bent from compression or something hitting the bucket while possibly driving ahead.

Ouch! Wow, never seen that before. Sorry about the bend, hope you can get it addressed somehow without having to buy a new one.
