    Default Replacement/Alternate for 12 Hp Koehler

    The motor on our Gravely Commercial 12 is dead, busted and broken beyond repair.

    What are the choices, different makers, for replacing the engine and what adapters are or might be needed?

    Sources for the replacements, I've been wandering through Ebay?

    Plenty kohlers around,cheap too,get another one ,12-14-16 hp.they all should bolt in without issue. Might want to check PTO stub dia.
    2 cockshutt 1855,1 cockshutt 1800.

    I think that this is a rear engine Gravley and requires either a gravely spec engine or an adapter plate. Both Kohler and B&S were used so finding something suitable may take a little time and effort, but there are plenty of candidates out there.
