No not very much, 1/4 of a quart maybe

I see where you're going with this JJ....maybe a restriction in the tubing and/or fittings to the reservoir..??.....It's gotta be somewhere between the hose/ reservoir/suction screen..........

make sure the suction tubing hasn't been hit/squashed...

It looks in good shape I'll pull it off and check for a blockage.

Is the title for this thread [ the return hose ]correct , or should it have been suction hose.

suction hose, srry this is the first tractor I've ever dealt with.
