Well, had my first "disaster" with the B8200. Running a belly mower and the lifting "chains" both came loose and also the pin for the alignment came loose at the same time. The mower shifted and the drive shaft came out of the u joint. Then the u joint immediately started flopping around and proceeded to punch a hole in the transmission case. :( Not good !

Well, I found a place to have the hole patched and refilled the transmission with fluid but now nothing seems to work. I believe the hydraulic pump isn't pumping.

The 3-point won't go up and down or anything.

My question is, is there some way to either ensure the pump is pumping or to start the pump pumping if "air lock" is the problem?

I've now parked the tractor in a steep downhill position and I'll try it again in the morning.

I've taken the strainer out and it was PERFECTLY clean. Not a speck on it at all.

Is there a nut (?) on the pump or in the circuit that I can loosen to see if fluid comes out to possibly see if the pump is pumping??

thanks for any help.
