B275 Case IH Generator Belt

I am having trouble trying to replace a new Generator belt. I cannot get the Fan belt loose enough to get it off the crank wheel in order to get the Gen belt over the fan belt. Is there some trick to this ?

Any suggestions welcome.

Hi well just had a look at my B250 which I understand is identical as far as generator set up is concerned.
Looks like you will have to remove the radiator and take off the fan pulley to change the Generator belt.
The best idea would be to cut off the old belt and get a linked belt to replace it.
If you look up Bob Rooks in the user list and PM I am sure he can supply you with details of where to buy it and how to set it up
