Yanmar 2620
I have a Yanmar 2620 grey market
the one of the 2 bleeders sucks air
chances are it's the one right on the fuel pump
the bleeder itself looks like it is pressed together
suggestions?

I seem to be striking out on finding anyone who deals in yanmar parts , here in central California...

I don't know about the 2620, but all the other Yanmars I own (5 total) have bleeders that consist of a screw with a copper crush washer. Are your bleeders something like on a brake caliper?

There are many mail order sources for Yanmar parts. Some of the best are Hoye tractor, Little Miami Tractor Company, and Tractor Ernie. Dave's Tractor in Red Bluff may be near you, and might have parts. Many John Deere tractors have Yanmar engines for power, so may be a source of bleeders.

thanks for the reply

I was just frustrated
these bleeders are spring loaded push button
it did come apart, I added a washer under the spring on the bleeder on the pump, which has seemed to work

Where did you get that parts diagram?

I'm glad you got it figured out.

to follow up on the fuel problems

I replaced the orings on the bleeders

most of the return fuel lines had been replaced, but the original spring clamps, replacing with screw clamps was the final piece of the puzzle

no more sucking air/fuel starvation
